Andrea Stanley Insurance Services is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our commitment
Many of the people we serve are seniors, and accessibility matters to us personally — not just legally. We design and maintain this website with the goal of conforming, where reasonably possible, to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
What we do
- We use semantic HTML so screen readers and assistive technologies can understand page structure.
- We provide text alternatives for non-text content where possible (alt text on images, ARIA labels on icons and buttons).
- We design with sufficient color contrast for body text against backgrounds.
- Our site is keyboard navigable. A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of each page.
- Form fields include visible labels and use standard autocomplete attributes.
- Animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionuser setting. - Phone, text, and email options are available for anyone who would rather not fill out the contact form.
Known limitations
This site is a small, hand-built brochure site, and there may be areas where accessibility could be improved. Where we identify gaps, we work to fix them.
