Why I do what I do

I got into insurance because the system is genuinely confusing, and I knew families in this valley deserved someone who would slow down, listen, and explain things in plain English. No pressure. No agenda.

I work with major California carriers through my appointments with Benefits Plan of America, which means I'm not steered to push one company's plan. My only job is finding what genuinely fits your situation: your doctors, your medications, and your budget.

What people usually ask

Got a question that's not here? Just call or email me. No question is too small.

Does it cost anything to work with you?
No. A review with me costs you nothing. If you enroll in a plan through me, the insurance company pays me a commission. You do not pay me a fee.
Are you affiliated with the government or Medicare?
No. I am a licensed insurance agent. I am not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program. Medicare will never call you out of the blue, and I don't either. I only contact people who have asked me to.
How is this different from calling 1-800-Medicare?
1-800-MEDICARE gives general information about Medicare and every plan in your area. I can compare the plans I'm appointed to offer against your doctors and prescriptions, help with the application, and sit down with you in person if you want.
When can I switch my Medicare plan?
There are several enrollment windows: the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 to December 7), the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (January 1 to March 31), and Special Enrollment Periods if you've moved or had a life change. I'll help you figure out which window applies to you.
What if I already have an agent?
That's totally fine. If you're happy with them, stay with them. If you'd like a second opinion on your current plan with no obligation to switch, I'm glad to give you one.
How do I know you're trustworthy?
Fair question. Here's what I'd say: I'm licensed by the state of California, I have a local office you can visit, and my license number is at the top of this page so you can verify it directly with the California Department of Insurance at insurance.ca.gov. I'd rather earn your trust slowly than ask for it.
Does Medicare cover dental, vision, or hearing?
Original Medicare generally does not cover routine dental care, eye exams for glasses, or hearing aids. If those matter to you, tell me during your review and we'll talk through your options.
